Application

Breeding accelerator is a new breeding carrier and technological means in the era of big data. Compared with traditional breeding, the breeding accelerator has the characteristics of faster detection speed, lower cost, high throughput, and can perform gene detection and feedback on more plants with more efficiency. A major direction of modern agricultural breeding is the quality trait improvement to obtain larger fruits/seeds, higher oil content (oil crops), more developed root systems, etc. Breeding accelerators can quickly obtain a large amount of plant phenotype information, and complete the selection of the fittest seeds through gene editing.
